This is the first edition in the restoration of the HQ129 as it unfolds. I show the initial repaint of the cabinet and the chassis as received. A bill of materials for the capacitors to replace and the work, including alignment techniques will follow as sort of an unorganized rambling blog and notes as the work progresses.
